It's been awhile since I've done a favorite post so why not give you guys one that will help you get through this Winter weather? Below are my current favorite items in Beauty, Skincare, and Lifestyle.
**All pictures are product pictures from their given sites, all pictures are linked to the direct product page**
I'm currently looking for a makeup removing serum or micellar water, more natural hair products and bomb high end foundation. If you have any suggestions, feel free to comment or hit me up on my social media pages to recommend! Thanks for reading!

Hey girls! So Influenster, a social media site for content creators, sent me a Vox Box in December full of goodies. A Vox Box is basically a box of free products complimentary of the brands for testing purposes. Today I am going to review one of my FAVORITE products in the box, the Aquation Daily Moisturizing Lotion.
When I tell you guys this lotion is amazing and it’s better than Nivea which is shocking. I use this mostly on my face but it’s such an amazing product. You know how you have that dry feeling after washing your face and you may need something to smoothen and moisturize your face, this lotion will do just that and it doesn’t leave you feeling sticky.
This product is for ALL skin types and it says their “advanced formula restores and fortifies natural water balance” which I can believe! The ingredients of this lotion are listed below!
Be sure to subscribe to me on Youtube to see what other products I use for my daily skincare routine! Thanks for reading!
Sincerely, Sharon B
First things first, I rarely go out places where I can wear heels and people won't look at me crazy so I take advantage of these opportunities lol. Last Saturday, I went to a brunch with my sisters from my organization and it was amazing. I wanted to keep my look classy and neutral (as always lol). Take a look at my outfit below and also check out my latest youtube video to see how I achieved this classic yet slayed makeup look!
Although, the items that I wore for this look are no longer available, I linked y'all to some great dupes and they are all UNDER $50! It's time to go shopping :)
Thanks for reading!
Sincerely, Sharon B
Hey guys! Recently, I joined this app called Influenster (found on the Apple App Store and Google Play). Basically what you do on this app is connect your social media networks to this site and the more followers you have collectively, the more of an impact you have.
The bigger your impact and the more you review products, the Influenster team will hopefully pick you to receive a "VoxBox" which is basically free products companies send out through Influenster for people to test out and review. I received my first Vox Box about a week ago from Erno Laszlo and the product that I got was the Detoxifying Cleanse Set (sold at Sephora.com)
This travel size set comes with the "Detoxifying Cleansing Oil" and the "Sea Mud Deep Cleansing Bar". For only $28, this is a good deal for a high end skin care line! With my set, I followed the instructions that were given with the package and used the Cleansing Oil first. Now this oil doesn't even feel like an oil. It feels more like a soap. I wet my face first of course then gently massaged the oil into my face. It started to foam up like a soap as well. This product alone gave me a super clean and fresh feel and it felt amazing! I use this product alone on a daily basis. But when I want to go the extra mile, I break out my Sea Mud Deep Soap which is step 2 in this cleansing set. Just to clarify, I did not completely wash off the Cleansing Oil because I wanted to see how these two products worked together. I took the bar of soap and directly massaged it onto my face like it said in the instructions. Now this is the best Mud Mask/ Soap you will come across! The first time I used this product, I just used the soap and washed it off and I still got good results, but the second time, I let the mask sit for about two minutes and the results were even more amazing! I highly recommend this cleansing set to anyone who hates using a ton of products and wants to keep their cleansing routine simple. Here's a picture of my face fresh after my wash below!

If you haven't been living under a rock then you know about the ignorant, stereotypical, and RACIST comments that fashion designer, Marc Jacobs, has made in response to using pastel colored faux locs on his models for his 2016 NYFW show. Here's my thing about this, I am an artist myself so I can understand when designers, dancers, artists, etc. take something and turn it into something beautiful. But if you're going to use a culture, you have to do it RIGHT. Now Marc Jacobs artistic activity wasn't even the issue, it was the COMMENTS. Take a look down at the atrocity down below...
So let me address this ass hole on each part of his racist ass comments. One, white people take and take from other cultures and never gives credit. Examples:
Number Two, Black Women wearing their hair straight. Okay, FIRST OF ALL *MEHGAN FROM BGC VOICE*, Black Women have been FORCED to wear their hair straight by white counterparts such as YOU. My people literally cannot get jobs because of their locs but you wanna talk about straight hair on black women. When you get fired, don't get hired, or get demerits because of your natural hair, then you can talk. There was literally a law passed that people can legally NOT hire or FIRE black people because of their locs, read more about the case here.
Number Three, the I don't see race thing you people try to pull BLOWS ME! You have black and white vision or something? With those shades in your foundation range, I can clearly see how you can say you don't see color. *Picture Below*
Any true artist would acknowledge the fact that everyone is different and embrace it. That bullshit ass, "I don't see color" mess is so annoying, Just like All Lives Matter! If anything, Marc Jacobs along with the rest of his colleagues with the same mentality are the narrow minded ones by not even listening to the people of the culture you're stealing from concerns.
Now as I said, Marc Jacobs is officially cancelled and I won't, along with countless other black women, be spending my hard earned money towards his products. Which kinda sucks because his lipglosses are bomb lol. But I also wanted to give a huge shoutout and say I have earned so much respect from Jackie Aina for speaking out against Marc Jacobs. As you know she is a huge beauty guru who is on his PR list. I respect her so much for putting her morals and culture before her sponsorships. Take a look at her video below.
With that being said, Thank you for reading. Until Next Time!
Coming from a girl who is always online shopping, I've dealt with scams, terrible products, unprofessional owners, you name it! Here are some tips to help you online shop successfully!
Do - Watch Reviews
There a review for every new thing under the sun. You should take advantage of that. Before I buy anything, I take myself right to youtube or google & do my research. The questions you should always be looking for answers to are: Are they a trusted brand? Do they provide quality products? What’s their refund/return policy?
Do - Use PayPal
Paypal always provides protection if you don’t receive the product you were promised. Especially with the “Instagram boutique” epidemic, everyone wants a clothing store but not everyone provides quality clothing and/ or service. Save yourself the trouble of having to deal with unprofessional business owners who don’t want to give money back over a crappy product and go through paypal. It’s your best bet.
Do - Read The Product Description BEFORE Buying
9 times out of 10, the products materials are listed in the description box for example: 99% cotton, or something in that nature. Here's an example below!
Don't - Buy From Untrusted Brands or "Instagram Boutiques"
With this tip, it's honestly a hit or a miss. Never an in-between. You should also stay away from the instagram boutiques that have in their bio, “No Returns” or “Only Store Credit”. Which is basically saying, we get our stuff from wholesalers in China for a super low price, over price it, and if you don’t like it we won’t give you your money back. I’ve actually fallen a victim to this trick. I brought this super cute (or I should say, I thought it would be cute) white bodysuit for only $13 + free shipping. Good deal right? WRONG. The body suit was constructed TERRIBLY, it took forever to come & you can see my nipples through the material. It wasn’t even like I would be able to wear a bra under it because it’s a super deep v cut & plus the whole back is out. It was terrible!
Don't - Direct Message, Comment or Tweet An Owner About Your Order
Professionalism is always a MAJOR KEY. 99.9% of the time, an owner to a business will have an email address in their description box of their social media pages or it will be in a section on the actual website. Please remember that owners are people too! Do not be rude or annoying. You reap what you sow!
Don't - Buy From Just Any Vendor! (Ebay, AliExpress, Amazon, etc.)
This tip is dedicated to my ebay and amazon babies! Please be careful buying from just any ol' vendor. Check the star rating and comments. Comments by previous customer have some times driven me away from buying a product. Be aware that when you do buy from these websites, the shipping may sometimes take an EXTREMELY long time to come because it can be coming from overseas and it will have to go through customs, which is an annoying, long, and unnecessary process :)
Tell me some of your crazy online shopping experiences in the comment section below!

From Nude Pinks to Nude Browns to Nude Nudes, I LOVEEEE myself a nude lip. Sadly, me being the complexion I am (and girls with deeper complexions than I), every "nude" lipstick, gloss or stain isn't necessarily nude for us. From lipstick junkie to another, here are my fav's along with links for purchase (Click on the photo to go to the website). Also vote for your fav lippie in the survey below!
This nude lip has a tan/brownish color. Yellow/ Reddish undertones. Looks great on any complexion! It has a matte finish but I like to pair it will the Lorac lipgloss, Duchess, for a glossy finish.
This liquid lipstick is basically the liquid lipstick version of "Naturally Transformed". You will never have to re-apply throughout the day!
This lipstick is the perfect pinkish nude color for any spring/summer event or for everyday wear as well. Matte Finish. For a glossy finish, I like to pair this with Duchess by Lorac as well.
Although like I said I like to pair this with “Naturally Transformed” or “Velvet Teddy” for a glossy finish, I can also can wear this alone. This lipgloss is HIGHLY pigmented and be seen worn alone. This is a pinkish nude gloss.
My all time favorite low end pinkish/ nude lipstick is this one right here. For the low price of $7.00 the quality of this lipstick is AMAZING!! When I wear this, I almost never have to reapply which is so crazy considering the fact that it is a matte lipstick.
