First things first, I rarely go out places where I can wear heels and people won't look at me crazy so I take advantage of these opportunities lol. Last Saturday, I went to a brunch with my sisters from my organization and it was amazing. I wanted to keep my look classy and neutral (as always lol). Take a look at my outfit below and also check out my latest youtube video to see how I achieved this classic yet slayed makeup look!
Although, the items that I wore for this look are no longer available, I linked y'all to some great dupes and they are all UNDER $50! It's time to go shopping :)
Thanks for reading!
Sincerely, Sharon B
Baby, it's cold outside and you need a new jacket! Preferably with faux fur. If you're anything like me, you get cold easily which is the worst when you live in the Northern East Coast of the U.S. But it's also the best time of the year in fashion so there's a silver lining. Black Friday is coming up and I know you're about to splurge so here's some options for my girlies on a budget! **ALL photos are from the site where the the item is sold**
ZARA Denim Frock Coat w/ Faux Fur $69.90 - BUY HERE
Imitation Suede Biker Jacket - H&M - $69.99 - BUY HERE
ZARA Short Trench Coat $99.90 - BUY HERE

Fall is slowly diminishing in the North and Winter is coming in strong. During this season you may think it's hard to stay fashionable and warm but it's easier than it seems and you don't have to break the bank either. Tights and Socks has always been a part of my wardrobe considering the fact that I've been dancing for 16 years now. I have a wide variety from tan, black, and pink to printed tights and let us not even get into my sock collection lol. But socks and tights are an easy way for you to layer and stay fabulous during the frigid winter weather. Here are some options below!
Note: There is also a difference between trashy and classy when it comes to lace tights. People can tell the difference between cheap tights and quality ones. Make sure you make the right purchase!
Styling tights and socks though is the tricky part. You have to be careful to not over do it to avoid just doing too much. Patterned tights and socks are just like a statement necklace, the center of attention in your outfit. You want to keep people drawn to the statement piece. Here's some examples from Dana Forlano and myself below.
Send in some pictures to my comments and social media handles so I can see how you're styling throughout the Fall/ Winter season!

With the weather being so bipolar, I feel like it's so hard for me to pick an outfit out without having to worry about showing too much skin and getting sick. This look was inspired by me snooping around on @MakeMeOverMalika's Instagram page. Malika (@LouisnPearls) is a stylist who I met around last year & I fell in love with her and her brand ever since. Check her out for your styling tips to slay for the Fall/ Winter Season!
Coming from a girl who is always online shopping, I've dealt with scams, terrible products, unprofessional owners, you name it! Here are some tips to help you online shop successfully!
Do - Watch Reviews
There a review for every new thing under the sun. You should take advantage of that. Before I buy anything, I take myself right to youtube or google & do my research. The questions you should always be looking for answers to are: Are they a trusted brand? Do they provide quality products? What’s their refund/return policy?
Do - Use PayPal
Paypal always provides protection if you don’t receive the product you were promised. Especially with the “Instagram boutique” epidemic, everyone wants a clothing store but not everyone provides quality clothing and/ or service. Save yourself the trouble of having to deal with unprofessional business owners who don’t want to give money back over a crappy product and go through paypal. It’s your best bet.
Do - Read The Product Description BEFORE Buying
9 times out of 10, the products materials are listed in the description box for example: 99% cotton, or something in that nature. Here's an example below!
Don't - Buy From Untrusted Brands or "Instagram Boutiques"
With this tip, it's honestly a hit or a miss. Never an in-between. You should also stay away from the instagram boutiques that have in their bio, “No Returns” or “Only Store Credit”. Which is basically saying, we get our stuff from wholesalers in China for a super low price, over price it, and if you don’t like it we won’t give you your money back. I’ve actually fallen a victim to this trick. I brought this super cute (or I should say, I thought it would be cute) white bodysuit for only $13 + free shipping. Good deal right? WRONG. The body suit was constructed TERRIBLY, it took forever to come & you can see my nipples through the material. It wasn’t even like I would be able to wear a bra under it because it’s a super deep v cut & plus the whole back is out. It was terrible!
Don't - Direct Message, Comment or Tweet An Owner About Your Order
Professionalism is always a MAJOR KEY. 99.9% of the time, an owner to a business will have an email address in their description box of their social media pages or it will be in a section on the actual website. Please remember that owners are people too! Do not be rude or annoying. You reap what you sow!
Don't - Buy From Just Any Vendor! (Ebay, AliExpress, Amazon, etc.)
This tip is dedicated to my ebay and amazon babies! Please be careful buying from just any ol' vendor. Check the star rating and comments. Comments by previous customer have some times driven me away from buying a product. Be aware that when you do buy from these websites, the shipping may sometimes take an EXTREMELY long time to come because it can be coming from overseas and it will have to go through customs, which is an annoying, long, and unnecessary process :)
Tell me some of your crazy online shopping experiences in the comment section below!
Hi guys! Recently, Queen Bey (as I like to call her) released her athletic clothing line, "IVY PARK" on Top Shop, Nordstrom, and a couple other particular stores. Because this was a new brand, I did not want to splurge but I did treat myself to something of course. Y'all know I'm a proud member of the #BeyHive. Below is a picture of the sports bra that I purchased. It was $38 (U.S Dollar) but with my student discount from UNiDAYS, I saved 10% off. Sign Up HERE!
This sports bra is SOOOOOO COMFORTABLE. I tend to only buy Nike sports bras because even though I don't have that much chest, me being a dancer, I NEED everything to be compressed. This bra does exactly that. It ask fits true to size. You do not need to move a size up or down. Below is a picture of me in the actual sports bra
I will definitely be buying from IVY PARK again, once I get my bank account in check lol
